Des Moines Catholic Workers participate in Des Moines’s commemoration of the International Day of Action.
Des Moines Catholic Workers Ed Bloomer, Carla Dawson, Fran Fuller, Norm Searah, and
Mona Shaw all participated at the rally. The demonstration was organized by Progressive
Coalition of Central Iowa (PCCI) and was one of thousands of such demonstrations
held around the world that day that called for an to the war in Iraq. Between three
and four hundred attended.
